Kindred Spirits

Do you have a kindred spirit . . . you know that person that Anne just lovely describes as the person you always go to? The one who will always be part and parcel of your life.

How would you describe your kindred spirit? Is it just one person or do you have more than one kindred spirit?

I've always loved the idea of having a kindred spirit and the way that Anne always looked at everyone she meets as a potential kindred spirit.

I have to say I've been blessed and I do have a few really good kindred spirits.

I've met several "kindred spirits" in my travels thru Blogland, but I don't really have anyone in my life right now (besides my husband & son) that I think of that way.

When I met my husband (in high school) I thought of him as a kindred spirit.

I have met many kindered spirits in my lifetime so far.
I really like the nature of Anne that she feels that everyone she meets is a potential kindered spirit.
I need to follow her example more.

Yes -I think that you are my kindred spirit Mary Lynn! VBG
Seriously, I too feel that I have met a lot of kindred spirits in blogland. In real life - it's my daughter.

In a lot of ways, my husband is my kindred spirit - in all of the important, life long path ways, like personality, religion, sense of fun, ethics. However, he's not a kindred spirit in the form of "let's get together and craft" which is also important to me. I would suppose my mom is another kindred spirit in that we can do almost anything together and have a good time. My neighbor Penny may be a kindred spirit - we've only just met a few months ago but we share the same passions - fiber arts, books and animals! It's nice that we live so close!

Kindred spirits are those people who always have a smile for everyone no matter how hard things are and who love the simple little things in life and ... i'm glad i met them somewhere over the rainbow.
