Well I will admit this is my first time reading all the books and that includes Anne of Avonlea. I've always watched the movies, but now that I'm reading it, I'm realizing all the wonderful things that the movies left out.
I'm so impressed with the story of Miss.Lavendar. It was just lovely but I won't go on because I don't want to spoil it for the rest of you. But it was just beautiful!
Its one of my most favorite parts......so far :)

I just read this part as well; I read the books years ago, but completly forgot about Miss Lavender- it was so sweet :)
Same here...I have also finished the second book in norwegian..and there was the story of miss Lavender. I had also forgotten about her.
Wonder what she looks like? The story gave me lots of pictures in my head...but I can not decide what I imagne she lookes like.
