If any one has any last minute projects that they want in the running for the grand prize, please blog about them a little on this site and show a picture. I'm going through everyones previous entries to see if any thing pops out at me. So please get those entries in. We have a great prize for the winner - we had a bunch of donations for it and I have to say I'm pretty envious of the winner. Good stuff! Can't wait to see what every one has been making. ~ Caitlin

The references several times in "Anne of Avonlea" of the beech trees were the inspiration for the Beech Leaf Vest by Fiddlesticks Knitting. My project was found. A gift of some luscious plum yarn (a wool from China)in December paired beautifully with the pattern. My holiday knitting pushed this project to the backburner where it remains. But I hear it call me and I will answer soon. The project will be a reminder of my winter of reading Anne.
